Goddess Mahakali, one of the three major forms of Adishakti, is a very influential deity in the Dashmahavidya system. On one side of the Kali Yantra is the agitated image of Goddess Kalimata, under whose feet Lord Shiva has bowed himself in reality. In the second part, there are five horizontal triangles around the center point, three circles around it, eight lotus flowers or petals, and device structure is enclosed in four entrances (in Bhadrasana).
